About Global Security Solutions

Founder of Global Security Solutions (GSS)

Global Security Solutions is a security engineering firm specializing in nuclear security engineering, nuclear facility protection, and critical infrastructure security design.

Eric Wilson founded GSS to deliver a more integrated and holistic approach to nuclear security. The company focuses on comprehensive analysis across physical, procedural, and electronic security domains, consolidating them into a unified solution. GSS supports implementation to help partners achieve a sustainable, “best-in-class” nuclear security posture.

Military Leadership Foundation

Eric Wilson began his career in the United States military, serving in Special Operations units where he developed expertise in security strategy, threat assessment, and mission-critical planning.

Following his military service, he applied that experience to the protection of high-consequence environments, founding a security firm focused on advanced counterterrorism and critical infrastructure protection for complex global clients.

His leadership philosophy emphasizes disciplined execution, integrated security architecture, and long-term resilience across physical, procedural, and technological domains.

Nuclear Security Expertise

GSS’s core focus evolved to include nuclear security, advanced response strategy development, specialized training, and explosive validation testing.

Through this work, Eric Wilson played a key role in designing response strategies for more than 75% of nuclear power facilities in the United States and supported numerous international nuclear security programs. He has also led or validated the design of protective barrier systems deployed at the majority of U.S. nuclear sites.

He is widely recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in nuclear security, providing testimony before the U.S. Congress, engaging national media, and delivering keynote briefings for government agencies and international security forums.

Executive Leadership

Eric Wilson later served in senior executive roles, including Vice President, President, and Chief Executive Officer within one of the world’s largest security organizations operating across more than 110 countries.

In this capacity, he held executive oversight of 31 nuclear facilities and was responsible for enterprise-level security strategy, operational performance, and organizational transformation.

He designed and implemented the first dedicated 24/7 adversary team program utilized by the U.S. government to rigorously test nuclear facility defenses. Under his leadership, new operational divisions were established and the organization was restructured into a high-performance culture focused on sustained security excellence.
