Detection, assessment, and response all collapse to the same failure mode if the radio link between them is weak: the alarm is real, the responder is close, and the outcome still turns on whether the call got through. Fixed-infrastructure networks — single base station, single repeater path — carry that risk quietly until the day a node goes down mid-event.
GSS designs and deploys encrypted mesh networks built around AES-256 encryption and FIPS 140-3 validated hardware, with frequency hopping and dynamic routing so the network reroutes around a degraded or jammed node instead of failing with it. The result behaves less like a radio system with a single point of failure and more like a network: peer-to-peer, self-healing, and hardened against both interception and interference.
Deployment is scoped to the actual need. Some sites use mesh comms as a compensatory measure during a fixed-network outage or a construction phase; others adopt it as the permanent architecture. The engineering and the accreditation package are the same either way.
