Response plans are built on how long a barrier holds. When that number comes from a specification sheet rather than a test, the entire timeline downstream of it inherits the error — complement, response positions, and the outcome of the next force-on-force exercise.

GSS replaces the assumption with measured data: engineering analysis of the barrier, container, or structure, followed by validation against the explosive and tool capability the DBT actually grants an adversary.
